A quick read on showing love to your kids when you're angry!

Challenging moments do not have to become “bad days.”

We all have days where there are moments we would rather not deal with.

The sitter cancels.

Your kids get into a fight.

You start the blender and forget the lid! Ack!

Your human pulls your ears up into a hair tie! Ruff!

Challenges happen but we have a choice on how to react in those moments.

We can’t change others’ reactions, but we can work on ours.

Will you let a challenging moment turn your day into a bad day?

Will you let the “bad day” move you to be angry, irritated, and grumpy?

You don’t have to let a bad moment or a few bad moments turn the day into a bad one for you or anyone else. 

When faced with a challenging moment, SIT & Pray! 🙂

Stop and separate yourself from the triggering situation.

Inhale a few deep breaths.

Tune in and validate the feelings you’re having,  it’s okay to feel whatever it is you are feeling.

Pray and ask the Lord to give you clarity on how to work through the challenging moment.

It’s also great if you can think of three things you are grateful for before returning to the situation.

SIT & Pray with a bit of gratitude will help you walk into the next moment on a positive note and turn what could have been a bad day into a good day!
