How do we grow our spiritual fruit if patience?
Giving it time.
I know that’s not the answer you want, but it’s the truth.
My personal journey and what I’ve learned from coaching other moms has taught me…
In order to overcome destructive anger, you need…
The desire to become better.
To take responsibility for your actions.
The ability to be honest with yourself and God.
Trust that what God leads you too, he will lead you through what He has brought you to!
Praise! Yes praise the Lord for challenges that strengthen you.
We read from God’s word that patience makes us “perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:4
That kind of patience takes time and suffering…
You have to walk through the valleys to gain awareness around your triggers.
It requires overcoming negative patterns from your past.
It takes time to renew and restore your relationship with your kids as you grow.
“It takes time,” is something most moms who come to me don’t want to hear.
They want to hear that they will be free of rage after two weeks of working together.
And although they do experience less rage and discover more patience, they still have a journey ahead of them.
It’s in the waiting that we’re forced to look outside ourselves and rely solely on God.
Relying on God reveals his Glory.
When God’s Glory is revealed to us, we find our breakthroughs.
The Lord uses patience to break us of our pride and what weapon the Enemy uses to keep us angry!
